“Integrated audio-visual experiences are becoming a mainstay in virtually every venue of daily life, including transportation hubs, through which millions of travelers pass,” says Brad Grimes, senior director of communications for AVIXA.

At Remote Design Group, we’re at the forefront of creating a new kind of experience — one that is compelling, immersive, engaging and increasingly grounded in audio-visual solutions.

Menu Board.jpg

Using digital menu board technology allows you to easily and quickly create beautiful  menu advertisements.  Edit your offerings and prices anytime you want.  Add images, item descriptions, scrolling text, slideshows, videos.  Build your own content, or let us provide a complete end to end solution including content production and management. From affordable entry level systems, to enterprise level content management, we'll find the fit that's right for you.

Control Systems.jpg

Customized system control has evolved substantially over the last decade.  More recently, we’ve witnessed the increasing interplay between hardware and IT, the push toward data acquisition for enterprise-level reporting and analytics, and the dramatic drive toward automation, collaboration, and the integration of unified communications. All these advancements and trends march alongside the familiar basics of simplification, system security, and, of course, the ever-present goal of complete customer satisfaction. Let us help you control and monitor your AV, Security, HVAC, Shades, Lighting, Power, and IoT devices.

If you own a retail store, whether large or small, you’re always striving to find ways to differentiate your business from competitors. One of the ways you can do this is through a commercial audio system for your store that not only entertains and retains customers, but can improve employee morale and retention, and act as an extension to your brand. We can help with system design, installation, and even content distribution.  A poorly installed system can often do more harm than good and increase cost, so it’s imperative to consider the key values and benefits of a professional commercial audio system for your retail store, and hire a professional .

Sound Masking.jpg

Sound masking is an ambient sound distribution system, it plays a sound similar to that of airflow, that’s specifically engineered to the frequency of human speech.  With it, you can target conversational distractions and make them less distracting.  Adding sound to a space actually makes the space seem quieter. It sounds counter-intuitive but it’s true. This is because the added sound reduces the intelligibility of human speech. When you can’t understand what someone is saying, their words are less distracting — in fact, you probably don’t even notice them.

Media Production.jpg

Remote Design Group can provide full support for your media production project. We're not just experts at sharing and displaying media, we make it too!  If you have never "produced" a video for your business before, we can lead you through every phase of the process. If you have concerns about budget, we'll work with you to leverage the most “bang for the buck.” We work hard to bring a professional demeanor to our projects, in knowledge of equipment, technique, and customer service.

Media Distribution.jpg

Many media and entertainment organizations struggle with the challenges of content storage, transformation, and distribution. As production standards rise from HD to UHD/4K, 8K, and beyond, the amount of data associated with any given project grows exponentially. Adding to these concerns are the rapidly changing methods of bringing media content to consumers. Broadcast over a limited number of channels has given way to hundreds of ways to consume media via over-the-air, cable, satellite and Internet connections, using broadcast, on-demand, and streaming models.

Remote Design Group believes customer experiences can and should be magical.  A popular example is this sandbox, that projects topological images onto it in real time, as you re-shape the sand.  With interactive or 3-D sensing technology, you can amaze your customers.  Invite them to engage. Detect when shoppers approach, touch, pick up or put down a product, triggering delightful and informative experiences at that critical moment when they are considering a purchase.  Leverage any number of new technologies to merge the digital world with the physical one in your store front.

Augmented Reality.jpg

Augmented reality is an interactive experience of a real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real world are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple sensory modalities, including visual, auditory, haptic, somato-sensory and olfactory modalities.  Common applications include heads up data, training, and information displays, product media and information linked to product locality, and virtual representation of future project developments such as architecture and construction planning.

There are two new forms of immersive technology taking the world by storm right now.  Virtual and Augmented Reality, and Immersive Digital Spaces, also called Projection Caves.  This man is standing in an enclosed room where can choose the environment that surrounds him. Egyptian villa, Swiss Alps, Coral Reef, you choose.  Just 10 years ago, this technology was only available to huge theme parks.  Today, we can deliver mobile or installed solutions that fit any size and budget.

Store Counter

Free guest WiFi is no longer an amenity, it’s a necessity. Provide your guests with reliable internet service within your store.  We like to take it a step further, and leverage the most from your infrastructure.  Add Value to your WiFi with Remote Design Group's Advanced WiFi Marketing Solution.  You can transform your standard guest WiFi into an engaging customer experience, that also collects customer data and boosts revenue. This innovative solution allows you to market products and services to your customers in real time and even track and measure results over time.

Networking AV.jpg

AV over IP stands for “Audio-Visual over Internet Protocol”.   It is the transmission of audio-visual data over a network such as a LAN, WAN, or the internet.  As opposed to traditional AV environments, AV over IP (also known as AV/IP) refers to the use of network equipment to transmit and switch video and audio.  Specific networking hardware is sometimes required.  Factors across all network topology layers both physical and virtual must be considered to properly distribute media over vast networks with quality and efficiency.

Monitoring Room

Video surveillance involves the act of recording or observing a scene and looking for specific behaviors that are improper or that may indicate the emergence or existence of improper behavior.  The video surveillance design process includes the identification of areas of concern and the identification of specific cameras or groups of cameras that may be able to view those areas. If it is possible to identify schedules when security trends have occurred or may be likely to occur, that is also helpful to the process.

Motion Detection.jpg

When it comes to the advanced capabilities that many camera and IR based security systems have, there are two mentioned most often – motion detection and motion tracking. Sometimes uttered in the same breath as is if they were interchangeable, motion detection and motion tracking are two very different things in the world of security technology.  We can tell you what you need to know about both motion detection and motion tracking to differentiate one from the other, and find the solution that works for you.

Access Control.jpg

The term access control refers to the practice of restricting entrance to a property, a building, or a room to authorized persons. Physical access control can be achieved by a human, through mechanical means such as locks and keys, or through technological means such as access control systems.  the latest innovations employ pass-codes, smart badges, key fobs, and bio-metric access for entry.  Granting access has never been easier with full support for mobile apps and remote control and monitoring.  Remote Design Group can provide consultation and design, system penetration testing, and help manage your assets.  We also provide road mapping, and help managing vendor / manufacturer relationships.

A remote temperature monitor is a thermometer that has been upgraded for the internet age. It's a digital thermometer that tracks ambient changes in temperature. This sensor then streams the temperature data using wireless technology such as WiFi, Bluetooth or GSM.  Perfect for medical refrigeration units that house expensive medicines and materials, or products that require constant temperature control to ensure quality and safety.

Vendor Management.png

The complex task of managing relationships with multiple installation vendors, and the hundreds of equipment manufacturers related to your systems is daunting.   Leave the burdens of System & Contract Review, Scope of Work Clarification, Delivery,  Communication, and Service Management to us.  We ensure compliance standards are in place and met by all of your local technology vendors.  We handle manufacturer warranty and service issues for you, and we can even keep all of your system related info in an online secure portal for you to access anytime, anywhere.

Asset Management.jpg

Asset management is a systematic process of developing, operating, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of assets in the most cost-effective manner (including all costs, risks and performance attributes). Companies do a great job at managing their product inventory, but don't often have time, knowledge, or software infrastructure in place to manage all the data that goes into technology infrastructure management.  Let us design a custom data management system for your technology, and help you manage life cycles, service, and more.

Technical Support.jpg

The impact technology failure has on effective communication and collaboration in the meeting space is expensive.  Postponed or relocated meetings, inability to view the prepared content, external attendees unable to see or hear are a few of the common issues found in  improperly configured systems.  Most of us wouldn’t buy a car and not service it, or set up infrastructure without maintenance arrangements.  Because AV is often sourced through the construction process, or because the default support arrangement is ineffective,  AV support is often overlooked until it is too late.  Remote Design Group is committed to changing the technology support paradigm with a combination of Prevention and Cure services to decrease down time, and enable real time status monitoring.

Technology road-mapping is a planning technique to support strategic and long-range planning, by matching short-term and long-term goals with specific technology solutions.  Road-mapping techniques help companies to survive in turbulent environments, and help them to plan in a more holistic way to include financial and non-financial goals and drive towards a more sustainable development.  Developing a road map has three major uses. It helps reach a consensus about a set of needs and the technologies required to satisfy those needs, it provides a mechanism to help forecast technology developments, and it provides a framework to help plan and coordinate technology developments.

Mobile Apps.jpg

Website Mockup
